A Walkie Talkie provides easy and portable communication over short distances. The Kenwood ProTalk TK-3201T2 is their latest PMR446 transceiver, an evolution of the excellent TK3101 Walkie Talkie. Now supplied with a Li-Ion battery and a rapid charger. PMR446 transceivers are licence free 2 way radios.

Following on from the TK-3101, the new ProTalk TK-3201T2 starts where the TK-3101 left off. Offering class leading robustness, clear audio quality and top-of-the-range features, including audible channel recognition, using speech synthesis.
The aluminium die-cast chassis provides exceptional strength. This combines with a sealed case design to ensure that the ProTalk will provide years of reliable use. In addition to hard knock and drops, this rugged radio is also built to survive all weather environments. In fact, it satisfies or exceeds the stringent IP54/55 dust and water intrusion standards and also the US MIL-STD 810 C, D, E & Fenvironmental standards, including the demanding ?blowing rain? test.
The ProTalk two way radio offers 16 channels, each of which can be programmed by the user to any of the 8 pre-stored frequencies, guided by the voice synthesizer.
Thanks to the pre-stored 8 frequencies and 38 QT tones and DQT codes, the ProTalk can operate on the same channels and coded squelch tones as other business radio brands. So choosing the rugged Kenwood ProTalk will not impact on any of your previous investments in radio equipment.
The ProTalk offers 0.5W of power to enable direct radio-to radio communication on the same frequency (simplex) for distances of up to 5km.
A two way radio may well have to perform in a noisy environment, so the frequency curve of the ProTalk transceiver has been custom tuned to optimize two-way communications. Moreover, the32mm-diameter speaker delivers up to 500mW, ensuring communications are always loud and clear.
